My son got this book out of the library a while back. He is 5 years old & not usuallly into books. But this book has been re-read, re-read & re-read. Now everytime we go to the library he looks for this book again. He booked it out again this week. Now we have decided to buy him a copy as it is obviously one of his faves.

The book itself is about a little boy who has a "cuggy" It is like his security blanket that many children have. The little boy can't sleep without this blanket, & the other children in his class take the mickey out of him for having it, telling him that the "cuggy thief" will come in the night & take it away.

One night the cuggy thief (a dark & mysterious shadow!) does indeed come to try to steal the boys blanket, but the boy faces up to his fears & chases the cuggy thief to his den.

Of course it has a happy ending & the boy is praised by his classmates for being so brave.
