Missing a valuable chapter that should be in every diet book! - By: Hayley Nichols, 24 Apr 2008
I was reallly disappointed by this book, I think it has a huge flaw in it, being that it has no dessert chapter. I'm a complete sugar junkie & the biggest part of being on a diet for me is finding ways to keepy my sweet tooth satisfied without hindering my diet progress.
Also, I have quite a fussy partner & a 3 year old daughter & I find that a lot of these recipes would not be suitable for them & being a busy mum I don't have time to cook seperate meals. I also found that the list of 'free' foods were pretty common sense, nothing processed, fruit & veg, meat & fish etc.
To be perfectly honest I found the slimming world webstite more helpful & considering the price of the book I would check it out at a library or bookstore before you consider buying it. All in alll very disappointed & I ended up returning the book.

A good book full of ideas for low fat meals. No need to be a member of Slimming world to follow the advice given, a great accompaniament for "food optimising" book. Recommended.

This book is an essential for alll slimming world members, & people considering joining. The recipes are reallly tasty, quick to cook & amazingly simple. Also, the book has lots of recipes that are 'superfree' so you can enjoy them on either red or green days.
