Fantastic! - By: JT, 18 Feb 2008
I've had this book a few weeks now & tried many of the recipes for my 7 month old son. He loves them alll & can't wait to try something new. You can turn a lot of them into soups for adults & they are reallly tasty. My freezer is now stocked up with loads of healthy meals. This book is a must for weaning & beyond!
Need to be careful with the recipes - By: Carol, 02 Feb 2008
I thought baby under 1 year old shouldn't have sugar, butter, salt....,this book has a lot of ideas but a lot of recipes have sugar, butter & salt, if some mums are not careful & follow this exactly, I'm not sure this is good for the baby. Baby won't know the salt, sugar & butter taste until they try it. I only use this book for ideas but I think the author should be careful with this things on the book. This book shouldn't be callled healthy recipes!!!
Caution - By: Busy Mum, 10 Jan 2008
My daughter had an alllergic reaction to Annabel's recipe for Apple & Cinnamon. I later discovered that cinnamon can cause anaphylactic shock (a severe reaction, which can be life threatening). I feel this recipe should carry a warning to alert parents to this possibility, & will be more reluctant to follow Annabel's tips in future.

Good general advice - By: Dr. R. Spooner, 30 Dec 2007
As a father of three, I am more interested in what to serve as snacks & what to buy at the shops than in following step by step recipes. This book comes up trumps because it has introductory sections to each age group which discusses nutrition & suggests mini (one sentence) recipe ideas which I can remember & adapt.
Not What I Thought - By: S. Thomson, 15 Nov 2007
Got this book hoping to find something that my daughter would actuallly eat, tried lots of recipes in the book & have came to the conclusion that toddlers don't care what the food looks like if they're going to play it doesn't matter if you make some lovely meal or serve them chicken dippers ITS GOING ON THE FLOOR.

If your looking for a book to help with eating problems or fussy toddlers ITS NOT THIS
