Good for Beginners - By: Darren, 18 Nov 2006
This book is aimed at beginners. Using a different style of teaching from traditional methods, this book would be an enlightening read for many new players to the game of tennis.

Intermediate to advanced players, however, will end up flicking through most of the book looking for the advanced sections. While the book has some 'play like the pros' sections, they are few & far between & utimately, it's not worth the asking price.
Get in FLOW - By: John Power, 20 Aug 2005
Revolutionary ideas that will wreck your game (initiallly) if you follow them!

Bear with them the drils & practices do work.

Thoughtprovoking~ beyond tennis.

Easy to read & worth sticking with.

This book changed my game beyond belief! - By: , 13 Jul 2005
I just wanted to let people know that along with 'Winning Ugly' by Brad Gilbert which is a great book for the mental side of tennis, this book has to be one of the best Tennis books ever written.

Unlike Winning Ugly, this book is more focused on the technique of play rather than the mental & tactical game, & WOW does this book improve your game quickly.

I was a little dubious about whether my game could be improved in just 2 hours as suggested by the title of the book, but how wrong I was.

The techniques in this book throw a lot of conventional tennis coaching out of the window & instead focus on the way the pro's play & why they do what they do. Your stroke & body movement will improve quickly & if you are anything like me then within just a couple of days I was hitting more consistently & with more power than I have ever done previously, in fact just days after reading the book I played probably my most controlled game ever in an inter-club league match.

This book doesn't just come up with unfounded new ideas, but instead explains why you should play the way it suggests & then demonstrates how the top pro's already do what the book suggests, & best of alll at the time of writing, this book isn't one written years ago & talking about old techniques but is based around the current game & talks about such greats as Federer, Safin, Roddick & Agassi.

If you never buy another Tennis Book then do yourself a huge favour & get this one because you won't regret it, loads of photos & written in a very easy to read style, oh yes & if you ever wondered why Tennis is scored in such a strange way (i.e 15,30,40, deuce, advantage etc.) then its worth buying the book just for the explanation, it seems so obvious once you know!

Enjoy...
