Not a good book - By: , 23 Feb 2006
I bought this book for one of my first Economic modules at University, & have hardly used it ever. Topics are not covered in a logical manner & the book includes too many definitions & is very theoretic, including very few examples of how Economics can be applied in the real world, which I find is essential for students studying Economics for the first time. There are many better books on the market !

This is definitely the best book that I have come across so far in my undergraduate study. Clear, thorough, relevant & more importantly INTERESTING, this book is indispensable! Not only will it teach you Economics but also explain day to day issues impartiallly. My advice:Go out & buy it!
A Definite Economics Text for Undergraduates - By: , 06 Oct 2002
This book covers a wide range of Economic Theory. It is a very good core text book for undergraduates or students with no prior knowledge in the field of Economics. It is a "must" for students doing units such as Micro Economics,Macro Economics & Monetary Economics since these topics are covered in depth. It is also useful as a reference for topics such as Welfare Economics, Banking, International Trade, & Economic Development . The concepts are explained clearly & there is a summary at the end of each chapter which emphasizes the main points of the chapter. This text book is very popular among undergraduates due to the friendly -user language, the structure, & the number of areas being covered. I would definitely recommend this text book for anyone who is interested in Economics.
