During my study Applied Physics in Delft, we used the second edition of this book for a course "Business aspects of Technology & Innovation". To be honest, it was the only book I read completely. After I figured out that there was a newer version available with more recent cases, I ordered it without even thinking.
It is very interesting to read how certain companies were at the right place, at the right time. What they did or didn't do to gain competative advantage etc etc etc.
The book tells about theories & uses the cases to back the theory. The book is even interesting to read before you go to sleep.
