One selection from a required reading list for grad. school, initiallly looked quite interesting but since written in '93 it does not include much Internet technology. This book is rather good with an explanation of Era I & Era II computer technology & how companies need to transition but if you are dealing with present day Internet concepts this book is limited. I would suggest this book as a precursor to any other book which may get into the next Era of computing, dealing specificallly with the Internet. Looking for ideas about reengineering an IT department, then this is a good start.
