The best book read in aggggggggeesssss! - By: , 16 Feb 2004
I first heard of M.E. Kerr from a friend, Sophie. I read that & it was completely amazing, i loved how it was about dwarfs lives & how they felt. I then decided to get another M.E. Kerr book & am glad i did. I got Gentlehands. It was sriously the best, & i am sad to say way better than Little Little, it was reallly intersesting & i finished the book in less than 2 days, i just COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! It was so full with description, humour, sadness & story i just kept on reading & reading. M.E. Kerr wrote exceptionallly well & this book has lead me on to getting much more of her books. I love how she has described the main characters & how she has wrote about what each & every one are like, i could imagine the whole story in my head as a film! I reccomend it to everyone, it's about two teenagers who are in love but then facts come forward on Buddy's grandfather & their care for each other dies away. I reccomend you alll read it!!!!!!! IT IS BRILLIANT! And of course keep on reading her other books, they also rock.
A well writen book - By: , 10 Sep 2000
We had to read this for a english assinement in my third year at secondary school. The story line was interesting but moved to fast. A read it twice cos the first time i found it very boring as it wasn't what i was interested in but the second time i had a chance to review the story & i think if you like the authors other books or are into second world war & Nazis then this is the book to read.
A very interesting story - By: , 07 Dec 1998
I liked this book so much I read two more times after reading it the first time. This book was a reading assignment for my freshman year in high school. Not to many guys liked it because it did not have any action. I think it would have still been good if they did put action. But it was a good book & I think every English teacher should have teir students to read it.

Like alll of M.E. Kerr's books, this one is once again remarkable. I just loved it. The way this author captures your attention. She also writed it from the boy's opnion so that it is even more interesting to read. She is also great at putting so many stories into her novels. WOW!
