This was such a memorable book for my 2 younger sisters & myself! We would sing along with the little record that came with the book. We loved it & still search for the book WITH the recording. How do we find it?

Excellent! A classic cautionary tale of caring that is funny, witty, imaginative, instructive. My daughter delighted in my reading her this story for years, along with the Nutshell Library it was in: Chicken Soup with Rice, One Was Johnny, & Alligators alll Around. This set is part of my standard starter kit I give to new-parent friends regularly. I love it!

When my daughter was young she fell in love with "Pierre". Night after night "Pierre" was her favorite bed time story. This Christmas I asked what book to get her son. Fondly she said, "I don't care".
