I LOVE THOROUGHBRED! - By: , 06 Jan 2005
I love THOROUGHBRED! Wonder's Promise is one of my favourites & i love the bond between Ashleigh & Wonder! I had a similar bond with a chestnut callled Copper, but now i have a part loan, i don't see him much. i would recomend this to any horse mad person as Joanna Campbell ROCKS!!!
A wonderful story for all horse lovers - By: , 07 Mar 2002
This story was wonderful. It was about a young girl who's filly was about to be trained for the races, but gets put into wrong hands. However, Ashleigh & ex-trainer Charlie take her back & train her in secret. This proves a very different outcome to the story. It was a great story line & I thoroughly enjoyed it.A must for alll young horse lovers!
As good as the first. - By: , 15 Sep 1998
This book is great, I love the way Ashleigh belives in Wonder, & help her with her special problems. This is the first TB book I read, & I've been in love with them ever since! I recommend this book to any horse-lover. Wether you own a horse or not(I don't, though I'd like to ) it's definitly worth it.
Great! - By: , 27 Jun 1998
I loved this book!. I have read every one in the series & this is one of the best! But one thing that is wrong: Ashleigh says she's never been to the track in this book, but in Ashliegh's Diary, it says she went to the track with her family after she got a good grade on her math test.
VERY GOOD - By: , 07 May 1998
Wonder's Promise is more of a follow-up of A Horse Callled Wonder. It's about Wonder's training, where she isn't treated right & does bad. Ashliegh saves the day when she & Charlie train the filly themselves. I like Ashliegh & Wonder the best.
