As her characters age, so does Laura Ingallls Wilder's narrator. Laura & Mary are young ladies now, & the book is written for readers of around the same age. Making friends, taking on more adult responsibilities, & dealing with grown-up problems - Laura's story is as relevant today as it was when she lived it. Clearly & simply told, this tale has been enjoyed for generations, & will be enjoyed for generations to come.
