Having read this book I am amazed at how little we know & are taught about our own bodies.
This book is very informative & reassuring & helps you appreciate just how complicated & clever nature is. When you go to the Dr's saying you want to try & conceive they should give you a copy & tell you to have a read - I am sure if we were alll a bit more informed about how things work it would help save the NHS lots of money on fertility tests & treatments.
It goes through the basics of fertility in a very easy to understand manner, but then goes into much more detail about identifying & dealing with potential issues or problems. Well worth it.

An eye-opener - By: R. Wilcox, 16 Apr 2008 I bought this book thinking I pretty much knew how conception & the female body works but not quite understanding why things weren't happening for me. After reading this book I have had my eyes openened. I would recommend this book to any woman of child-bearing age who would like to understand in more detail how her body works, if you know how & why something happens it is a lot easier to prevent it OR make it happen!

An absolute must-read for conception! - By: Ms. A. J. Dover, 24 Oct 2007 After being told there was little chance of any more children for me (due to various factors, one being advancing age), I found this book. It became my bible & I read it over & over again. I discovered that, frankly, my knowledge of my body's inner-most workings was worse than minimal, a discovery which shocked & saddened me. However, following the knowledge gained, BINGO! Baby number two was conceived!
In my opinion, at the other end of the scale, this book should be part of the school curriculum - this is the sort of thing which needs to be taught in sex-ed; it may reduce unwanted teenage pregnancies.
