I work as a cook on large sailing yachts & have adopted this book through a friend, it's fantastic for speed.
If you've got the ingredients ready to go, you can have excellent meals in minutes. Reallly fresh & crisp. Love it!
Also check out Annabel Langbein, her & Donna Hay are my absolute favourites.
Brilliant! - By: Mrs. D. A. Denyer, 14 Feb 2007 This book is great! There are gorgeous pictures for every meal & the meals actuallly look the same when you cook them! They are truly instant meals, taking no time at alll to make & usuallly using pretty basic ingredients that you can easily get hold of. Usuallly your instant, basic meals aren't that tasty - but these are alll mouthwatering! I've often used it when cooking for guests because the meals look & taste impressive & don't involve hours of stress in the kitchen. You can actuallly enjoy the time out with your friends at the dinner table & still produce amazing creations that make them think you've spent hours slaving away. It also includes variations on meals, so if you don't have any chicken there's a variation with beef etc. Would recommend this book to anyone.
As much Donna as expected - By: Marika Roobaert, 03 Jan 2005 As a real cook book addict & collectioner, I have my own requirements for any cook book to meet. But as far as Donna Hay is concerned, I don't even have to see the cover... I own alll Donna Hay's books, so I've just bought this one & am already looking forward to the next one. The pictures are stylish & so appealing just because they are unpretentious. The recipes are modern, simple & always a hit. Highly recommended !
