My children love this series, but having been press-ganged into reading bits of these books as bed-time stories, I don't. The prose is reallly clumsy & uninspiring & just doesn't flow. It got to the point where I would groan, loudly, whenever such a request was received.
There must be something to them - hence the two stars - or our copies of them wouldn't be so thumbed & battered.
PS My husband hates them too - it's not just me.

ok i have to admit i didnt read the first book i only got this book, i have now ordered alll 6!
This book is amazing. I didnt think i would enjoy it but it reallly draws you in & you become reallly attached to alll the characters involved. It will have to laughing & smiling & it a reallly good read.
Basicallly this book is about the lies that possibly surround Tigerclaw & how Fireheart & Graystripe help bring the Windclan back home.
I reallly would recomment this book to anyone & even if you haven't read the first one you cxan easily pick up the story line. BUT BEWARE.....
This book is addictive!

This is a reallly good book, from one of my favourite series. It's reallly exciting & there are lots of surprises & twists in the plot which makes it great fun. My favourite character is Cinderpaw who is a cute, energetic apprentice.
Fire and Ice - By: E. Lewis, 24 Feb 2007 I own the entire first series, the New Prophecy, & I will soon own 'The Sight', but this series is definetly the best. You reallly feel for FireHeart, feel his mixed loyalties & his anguish. These books are the most exciting & feelingful books I have ever read. Erin Hunter mixes studied wild cat behaviour with astronomy & legend, creating a suspensful adventure story that urges readers onward. DEFINETLY buy it!
