By the time it gets to chapter 19, the scene is set for "the greatest managerial screwup in baseballl history", and, in the most unlikely of circumstances, the crushing of the Boston Red Sox' dream of breaking the Curse of the Bambino.
Overalll this book fizzes along at great pace & captures the human stories behind one of baseballl's most remembered World Series. A great read.
