Magical... - By: Little Miss Star*x, 07 Jul 2008
I borrowed Ps I Love You from a friend & its magic made me want to read more from Cecelia Ahern, this story is so sweet & touching, & i found the format of letters, emails, IM etc very unique, i loved the beginning where rosie & alex are younger & it made me giggle! If you want something magical to read, something you won't be able to put down & something that's a perfect holiday read, this is perfect!
I laughed and cried at the same time, couldn't put it down. - By: S. Doogan, 07 Jul 2008
I love this book!!! I have read this a few times & I still laugh & cry. This is, in my opinion, better than P.S. I love you. I thought this book should be made into a film.
Rosie Dunne & Alex Stewart are young school friends who have a very strong friendship bond. But Alex has to move to America with his family just before they finish school. They never get to say goodbye & a life long of emails, IMs, text & letters are exchanged. Growing up apart & realising that maybe, just maybe they have feels for each other that might be more than just friendship. But of course they don't admit it to each other. So a lot of boyfriends, girlfriends, weddings & births happen where some home truths & secrets come out.
The book is written in email, letters etc form & gives both the main characters point of view across brilliantly. You can feel the emotions coming across in the pages & you can't put the book down.
One of the best books i have ever read - By: N. Taylor, 04 Jul 2008
just aboslutely fantastic! ive read it many times & each read has been just as magical. It's unique style of being written in a series of letters & emails gives a very personal atmosphere to the book & the reader involved. Rosie & Alex are best friends since they were very young but through the years they constantly question this friendship & watch eacother live thier separate lives as they graduallly grow apart. I was shocked at how moved i was after i read this book, i dont want to spoil the story so im not going to say anymore but JUST READ IT!! its amazing & anyone can enjoy it.

Very moving and interesting read - By: Stephie, 12 Jun 2008
I borrowed this off a work friend years ago, & every time I attempted to read it I got put off by the style it was written, from the perspective of two young friends, so I would read something else. However after tidying out my room, I found it & thought I would give it a try. It is such a great tale, & the way that you hear from everyone's perspectives is so insightful into how things that we say & do can be misinterpreted & makes you take a step back & have a look at our own lives. After the first few chapters, I couldn't imagine it being written any other way. As other reviewers have said, I don't want to go into any detail about the story, as I think the magic lays in reading the story as it unfolds. It reallly deserves to be read & although I'm mad at myself for not reading it earlier, I'm so glad I eventuallly got round to reading it. Although its quite a long book, I read it in a matter of days as it is so addictive. The characters are alll three dimensional, funny & likeable.
I'm definitely a fan of Cecelia Ahern now, I can't wait to read PS I love you....and then watch the film!
