Entertaining and enlightening about turning things around - By: Vidar Halvorsen, 02 Jul 2007
This isn't your typical management book about motivating your workers. In this book you follow the main character trying to turn a factory around & saving it from being shut down. The book uses concepts that seem taken from Native American culture to convince the reader about sound management principles. You cannot help nodding in agreement as you experience how the squirrel, the badger & the goose are used as symbols for how work environments should be. This is an entertaining & enlightening read that you should finish in little time, but which will haunt you for longer.

Outstanding and Meaningful - By: A. Farmah, 20 Apr 2006
A straight forward book to read but one that needs you to be open minded about the life concepts it scribes.
The philosphy is one for life not just for work. Read the book without interruption & anchor the 3 principles into yourself.
Attitude & Behaviour change tips for any person & best of alll, the book is cheap as chips. Gung Ho friend!
Easy to read, excellent perspective - By: , 13 Apr 2002
I read this book in one session on a Sunday afternoon. The skillful writing had me literallly with tears rolling down my cheeks by the end of the prologue (not of laughter!) & thus I was glued. The message in the book is simple & a must for anyone who is looking to motivate their teams & increase productivity for the long term rather than short term fixes & is about looking at your own attitude as well as that of your team. If you wish to stay as one of life's lone rangers don't buy this book.
Gung Ho! Everyone should read this book at least once - By: liz.cam@virgin.net, 06 Jun 2000
I bought this book for my husband & he in turn bought copies for each of his team members. He recommended it so highly that I read it myself - I have now read it three times. It's a must read for everyone as it can just as easily be applied to everyday life as to business. I have recommended it to several friends & those who have read it agree that it has made a positive difference to their lives.
