Have read better - By: Mrs. A. M. Chadwick, 04 May 2007
Over the years I've read a lot of Barbara's books,( & will be placing other online reviews of her works.
This story follows the life of a couple of best friends that met at college, but like life, nothing lasts forever & their friendship turns sour. After they graduate they alll go their separate ways & experience completely different lives. They alll get an invitation to a birthday party, but will they alll go? You have to read the story as I reallly don't want to spoil it for you.
This novel isn't one of her best but I did enjoy & found it a compelling read. :-)
Tiresome - By: , 12 Sep 2003
Unrealistic characters, predictable story lines & a very dull ending. Not exactly a page turner. I kept reading in the hope that something unexpected would happen, but no. More of an opportunity for the author to demonstrate her knowledge of Paris.
Not one of BTB's better efforts.
Lovely Read - By: , 30 Apr 2003
This book was reallly enchanting, & so beautifully written that I could not put it down even if it was late at night.I felt like I was there with the characters & wish there was a part 2 of the book. She is a great author & I enjoy reading books by her.
Three Weeks in Paris - By: , 21 Feb 2003
I have only started reading this book but it has completely enthrallled me. It is ver interesting & very easy to get into. It is about four girls, Kay, Jessica, Maria & Alexa & they alll attended the same art school run by someone callled Anya. They also also alll have a past in Paris. It is fascinating & I can`t wait to find out what happens.
