I bought this book to take on holiday & must say I closed my eyes & lapped up the sun more frequently than reading the book. Of the 36 stories, about 5 or 6 are well worth the read & keep you gripped until the end - the others are a little predictable & meaningless. You'd be better off buying a "propper" Archer book - saying that, it did help pass the time on the beach !

Hooked. Excellent for those who read little by little - short & sweet, & great for those that read lots - you read one, & can't fail to carry on reading the rest. Each one hooks you more.

This book contains alll (or most?) of his short stories.. alll 36 of them! This is the first Archer Book I have read & I'm totallly hooked! Wonderfully written, story endings are quite unexpectable, reallly reallly good!
