I BOUGHT THE ALBUM AS A PRESENT FOR MY HUSBAND. WE HEARD HER DO A RADIO PROGRAMME WITH HEAVEN 17 AND THOUGHT SHE WAS REALLY GOOD. WE HAD ONLY HEARD HER RELEASED SINGLES ON THE RADIO BEFORE THEN. THE ALBUM IS MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. I PUT IT ON MY IPOD AND LISTEN TO IT ALL THE TIME; MY HUSBAND PLAYS THE ALBUM IN THE CAR ON HIS WAY TO AND FROM WORK. THE SONGS ARE GREAT AND REALLY SEEM TO GET BETTER THE MORE YOU LISTEN TO THEM. SHE IS A REAL TALENT. IF YOU ARE NOT YET A FAN, DEFINATELY WORTH TAKING A CHANCE ON.
Catch Like A Virus - By: Bongo, 08 Mar 2010 This album should carry a Health Warning. Truly the musical equivalent of Measles, infectious, an itch you cannot scratch. I hated this album when i first heard it. I am, after alll, a dedicated Heavy Metal fan... this electronic rubbish was not to be to my taste. 48 hours later i was sat in a friends car when i heard La Roux again. I have probably never had a greater musical epiphany. Elly Jackson has one of the best voices of this decade & La Roux have produced one of the most intelligent 'pop' records of this genre. Instant classics like 'In For the Kill' & 'Bulletproof' are immediate in their impact & infectiousness but the true depth of La Roux is hidden in gems such as 'Colourless Colour'. Dismiss at your peril... you reallly would miss out on the freshest & most intelligent pop albums of alll time. Catch the bug now! Now... how do i disguise this amidst my Maiden albums..

Fantastikos - By: JimmyDCFC, 24 Feb 2010 Like other reviewers on here I`m old enough to have experienced 80`s electro pop 1st time around (yazoo on razzmataz after school etc) & this is just as good , I love her distinctive voice (not shrill at alll man !) which is what you need to go with synth sounds (see yazoo , miss kitten). Overalll a great album with very few pants tracks - also buy Little Boots & anything by Marsheaux.

If few people bother with this it's because life is too short to write 75-300 words.
bring in some sort of tick box system.
