Just bought this & found the superb song from the Magners cider add on the end . . been wondering where I could find this!! Cracking value for a couple of quid.

What a great purchase. If you like folk & want delve deeper, buy this. It reallly is a greater taster CD. If they started doing "Now that's what I callled Folk" this would be a great start, such a varied mix. Mr Magnifico is a lovely Hispanic-styled track, Williams & MacColl are a great duet & as always Cara shines!. I have albums by Carthy, Polwart, McCusker, Woomble, & Dillon, & these tracks are great additions. Thoroughly recommended!!

Superb - By: Graham Jones, 13 Apr 2008 Not being a great folk fan (that may now change) heard Mike Harding play a track of this, thought it was Steve Earle, turns out it was written by him.Decided to buy it on the strength of that one song
No better way of spending two quid, & I will now check out several of these artists, whoever put this together ... great idea.
Amazing variety and standard - By: David Crompton, 10 Apr 2008 I don't even especiallly like folk but what a great compilation this is for the money: it makes me want to follow up on some of the artists, see some live etc so I hope everyone will benefit from this lovely cd coming out at such a low price
