Their safest album yet - By: David Scoble, 10 May 2008
In Rainbows is Radioheads most accessible album. It sounds very nice, & is a brilliant blend of electronica & rock. A blend to the point nearly of average. It isn't up to the standard of works like OK Computer & Kid A. It feels like their happiest album. Some of the songs have been around in live form for a while, but haven't been finished up. This makes it feel like a bit of a b-sides album, which it isn't. It is better than that.

The release system is what this album will be mostly remembered for. It was a revolutionary to the marketing industry, as Kid A was to electronica. The music however, doesn't live up to the release system.
the true genius of this album becomes clearer with every listen - By: Adrian Baldwin, 24 Apr 2008
quite often with radiohead albums i have thought upon my first listening "what's that?" but after a few plays you reallly do start to "get it" & after several listens, you reallly discover the depths of the genius in the work. i think this is quite possibly the best radiohead album yet - & definitely another wonderful example of their unique magic. i love it - the band are reallly together & thom yorke truly has the voice of an angel. do yourself a big favour & buy it :)
Out of this world - By: Luke B. Taylor, 16 Apr 2008
i wish i could have given it more than 5 stars. Radioheads have done it again & produced an absolutely outstanding album. Nude, Videotape & reckoner are brilliant. I earge everyone to give this album a try. You won't be dissapointed!
It's not OK its inspiring - By: L. Winder, 12 Apr 2008
After discovering Radio Head back in 1999 at their concert in Manchester MEN, for which I was attending as a non fan I was blown away by their talent & but especiallly Thom's amazing vocals, & i've never experienced a better concert. The last two albums are good & I embraced the change in style but they just didn't challlenge my love for the first 3, until now.

This album is genius. Radio Head are still around today because of their creativity & talent, & their willingness to change direction when so many bands/artist seem unable to push the boundaries, but find comfort in sticking to a tried & tested formula. So many albums of other bands merge into one, not Radio Head.

Roll on June when I get to hear this album live & maybe this will be my new milestone.

Favorite track so far Jigsaw, s a tough choice from such a sublime album.

Those who have scored this low - By: Barry Parker, 01 Apr 2008
Music is undoubtedly a subjective & personal appreciation. There have always been & always will be, bands that people either love or hate. Even Radiohead will have their detractors but I honestly believe that if you are a true fan of music that continuallly evolves & progresses, then you must surely admire this band. I think "In Rainbows" is fantastic & it just keeps growing on me. The compositional skills & structuring of the songs for a band of Radiohead's long standing, demonstrate a remarkable level of freshness & inspiration. There are some low scores & absurdly negative comments in the review section & even some high scores where reviewers have indicated great music but suggested it is nothing new compared to the band's previous releases. I do not expect everyone to automaticallly love Radiohead but let's face it "In Rainbows" is a great achievement & in the years to come will be regarded as a classic.
