JUST BUY IT- By: R. Smith, 27 Nov 2007 I came very close to paying an obscene amount of money for this album on ultra rare vinyl recently, thankfully I stumbled across it pre-release on Amazon & ordered it on the spot. On hearing it I wouldn`t have been disappointed had I spent the obscene sum. The cream of British Jazz & Rock musicians together on a first class album, Mr McNair is as usual superb on Flute & saxes. With Steve Winwood on scorching hammond.First rate session man Colin Green on guitar & a host of other top musicians supporting. I`m surprised this & Harold McNairs` other albums have so long been unavailable & I reallly hope there are others to follow this. It`s definately a jazz album with rock leanings as opposed to a full on jazz rock offering similar in many ways to Ginger Bakers Airforce (on which McNair played)but so much better. With the addition of Bonus tracks this is almost a two CD`s on one release, the extras being the bulk of McNairs self titled `72 album. Well worth every penny.
