FROM POP PRINCESS TO CONTEMPARY SINGER! - By: Mr. Nathan Armstrong, 19 Jul 2007
twenty-five years ago tiffany was the darling of the airwaves..."i think were alone now" & a clutch of hit singles..a great debut album! then it alll went a bit wrong...the follow up albums saw a steady decline in sales...tiffany took some time out...posed for playboy & had a baby! she also matured musicallly..in 2000 she released the amazing "colour of silence" album which although not a big seller received huge acclaim not only for the vocals but also the maturity of the songwriting...it had a bit of an alanis morisette angst to it!
tiffanys voice is big enough to stop a bus & instantly recognisable! some love it some say its too nasal. the overalll sound reminds me of kelly clarkson but with tiffany on songwriting credits on 7 of the tracks its a strong album with some great lyrics & some great guitar riffs!
the best songs on the album as "feels like love" & "just me" with their californian rock feel, "winters over" - just tiffany & a piano & my personal favourite "this love" which sounds very much like a track from nelly furtados "loose" album callled "say it right" which has been in the charts for months on download sales alone in the uk!
a few songs miss the mark "mind candy" & "anyone but me"
its not a groundbreaking album but it is stong musicallly, vocallly & it does have some great lyrics...SHAME THEY ARENT INCLUDED!!
Great New Album From Tiffany!!! - By: Jake M, 13 Jul 2007
Tiffany is one of my favorite artists, i love her 80s recordings, her two albums from the 90s, the fantastic "Color Of Silence" CD & 2005's "Dust Off & Dance" but Tif's latest album "Just Me" is my favorite of alll. The songs are great, meaning full & catchy, Tiffany's voice is as good as ever & always in tune.
I recommend this CD highly & if your a fan of Tiffany then this is a most important addison to your Tif collection.

Dull - By: IWFIcon, 18 Jun 2007
It's twenty years since a tour of shopping mallls & a cover of Tommy James & The Shondells' I Think We're Alone Now propelled Tiffany to worldwide fame. You may be surprised that this is her seventh studio album & so yes, she has done more than pose for Playboy & perform on ITV's Hit Me Baby One More Time in the last two decades.
Some might suggest that Tiffany has "matured" as an artist from her bubblegum pop days, & naturallly that is true but that doesn't mean that his maturity (and let us not forget that she's still only 36) equates to anything worse listening to.
Granted it's not a terrible album, it's just that its a dull, uninspiring one that panders to the guitar singer/songwriter formula as if that's alll that matters.
Some of her fans would tell you this is a sublime album, full of lyrical storytelling & that it's a great statement of personality. It's not. It's your average run-of-the-mill "pop" album that mistakes a "mature" sound for one that is worth anything. I'd avoid this.
