The aLarm are the most criticised & under rated band of my generation. Mike Peters has put together a new Cd that would kick the backsides of many a new rock/metal/thrash/punk etc etc. band
This is a fine wine coming of age, as it's songwriter fights his own cancerous attack.
As with alll fine wines you get flavours of what lies behind the immediate taste. Under Attack! provides a full bodied trip to pogo heaven & back. YES!THE ALARM HAVE DONE IT!!! They manage to provide the taste of a band that has been going for over 25 years( with changed personnel) They provide the spirit of 76 & beyond, with tastes of The Ramones, THE CLASH,The Who, Springsteen & the many bands Mike Peters has cited as influences throughout his song writing career. This CD will kick your own backside ! Look What you missed! Too busy looking at alll the new kids on the alcopop block!!! Green Day wish they could drink this kind of vintage. It simply cries out to be heard by a wider audience.
Cease & Desist is the track to pop your cork whilst My Town, It's alright/ it's ok & This is the way we are will tickle every taste bud on the way down.
Get the loud hailer & shout to anyone who will listen.

Another triumph for punk rock - By: , 23 Feb 2006 Mike Peters & The Alarm have done it again, only better this time. Under Attack grabs you by the seat of your pants & takes you on a ride of excellent guitar, bass & drums alll the way through. Excellent vocals & mixing alllow for you to hear the incomperable punk rock sound that made them famous in the 80's, but they do it with a 21st Century twist. Buy it today, you won't be disappointed.

Don't buy this copy, spend the extra & get the bonus DVD package which has a video for each track on the album.
Most of alll, put aside your prejudice & listen to the music. It rocks & it has meaning. If this doesn't float your boat then get your pulse checked.
