No Better Break Up Song - By: m.bison, 27 Aug 2007
Whenever I see the video to this song, I just stop. It is the most painful, brutal music video to watch. There's nothing more lonely that one person in a hotel room & there is nothing worse than the thought of someone you have loved & lost being with someone else. It just tears me apart to watch this video.

The lyrics to the song are incredible, particular the second verse from "as you move on..." onwards. To have to say goodbye to your best friend; to the one person you love ... It`s awful & the song captures this perfectly. For nearly nine months I have been listening to this song a lot. Does it make the break up worse or better? I don't know, but it certainly echoes the pain & heartache that you feel.
A brilliant song filled with great emotion and poignancy - By: , 12 Dec 2005
I can't recommend this song enough. The lyrics are dripping with emotion & pathos & demonstrate that James Blunt is an artist to be reckoned with. Its a song that many can identify with & articulates perfectly the feelings of those who lost love but never stopped loving. Hopefully this song will remove the curse that repeated radio play of 'I'm Beautiful' has put on Mr Blunt & show that he is a truly gifted musician that deserves the praise & attention he has been give. Buy the single, or better still, buy the album!
Goodbye My Lover - By: Ronda Jardine-Pilcher, 09 Dec 2005
I can't reallly explain why I am commenting here,(I've NEVER done
this before), except to say that I am TRULY impressed with James' heart-felt lyrics that seem to actuallly flow from his very soul. I'm speaking the truth when I say that I can relate to his feelings/stories that he has obviously lived in his own
life. He gets his feelings out through song, I do so through my
poetry. If the Lord were to tell me I have one day to live but
he would grant me one wish before I go, I would wish to meet
James Blunt face to face & express to him just how much his
"music" means to me. Although I live in the US & have just
recently had the awesome pleasure to be "introduced" to his music, his lyrics make me feel like I've "known" him for a long
time. Maybe one day (in another life?) my wish shalll come true.
This man's voice simply mesmerizes me to my very soul. If only.
Sincerely, I think, your most TRUEST fan. Ronda, Vernon,TX.
