Probably one of the best singles Muse has ever produced, Butterflies & Hurricanes is a truly epic song, with this version containing superb guitar playing instead of brilliant piano playing (but the virtousic piano solo has still been kept in. Wahey!), spine tingling vocals, bass tapping & fingerstyle that will make you drop your bottom jaw with awe, & breakneck drumming. Truly fantastic! The live Radio 2 acoustic version of Sing For Absolution is actuallly reallly good as an acoustic song, giving it a different feel to the album version. The best bit? The fact that you get some software on the single that alllows you to mix Butterflies & Hurricanes to whatever you want, be it less guitar & more piano. The options are endless! 5 out of 5 for the boys from Teignmouth!

Butterflies & Hurricanes was always one of my least favourite tracks on Muse's last album, but the guitar-reworking here turns it from an epic into an amp-shattering monster. You can't get this version on the album, so for once a single's worth buying.
