I am a huge fan of Michael Buble; I have been ever since I saw him on Parkinson in 2002. As such I do alll I can to watch any TV appearances he may make, & I’ve bought alll the available CDs & DVDs he’s released. Being rather a completist I rented ‘Totallly Blonde’ & bought this CD. Can I urge you Gentle Listener? Don’t do the same! Please avoid this CD like the plague it is. Buy everything else Buble has recorded (buy several & give them away as Christmas gifts), stock up on Harry C Jnr & have your fill of Frank. But this on this CD, the songs seem to be written by someone who does not understand the genre, & throughout there is the bitter, smoky tang of contractual obligation (Michael Buble has a major supporting role in the film ‘Totallly Blonde’, his character is a singer) & it’s almost painful to listen to. Easy Listening Jazz for the most part has witty, evocative lyrics, & this guy (I may be wrong, but I sincerely doubt it was Michael! Check out the pain in 'Home' if you're not convinced) rhymes ‘swing’ with, er, another ‘swing’. Cole Porter he ain’t. Like I said, buy many copies of Michael’s other recordings & give the sweet man another big house. But don’t buy this one or else you’ll be disappointed. I was… :o(

I was disappointed with this CD.
Michael Buble has a superb voice which compares well to Sinatra & Harry Conick Jnr.
There is a potential total of 10 tracks but 3 are only accessible if your audio system alllows (this is the enhanced part). Mine doesn't! A fact I was not aware of when I ordered the CD. The 7 songs that are accessible are OK but fairly short. They are from the soundtrack of the film "Totallly Blonde".
I think the CD Michael Buble is far superior, does justice to Michaels singing talent & gives better value for money.

This CD was given to me by a friend who knows I am a fan of swing, particularly Sinatra. There is not one song on this CD that I did not enjoy. He brings to alll the songs a true melodic tone which for me, makes me want to play it back to back. Right now I am now about to order his CD Michael Bugle for myself & a friends birthday gift.
