Great house-soul collaboration and brilliantly funky b-side! - By: , 02 Mar 2004
One of 4 decent tracks from the latest jaxx album - kish kash, & an incredibly funky number (drawing from one of their earlier singles - jus 1 kiss), are brought together on this follow-up to the collaboration with dizzee rascal - lucky star.
So no remixes, no live tracks... just two outstanding funky-house tunes - 1 to kick-off any party, & one to chill to while blazin a joint!
But if mixes are your scene, grab the vynl - with a funked-up tim deluxe mix & dub, as well as the b-side - mere pass, this easily rips the arse off the cd single!
Wether you buy the cd or vynl (or both!) this is one single you WILL listen to more than just once...
Dance fans may enjoy it as much as I do! - By: Andrew Norton, 10 Feb 2004
After getting hooked on the group, with their energetic album Remedy, I thought I would invest in this single. And, I wasn't disappointed! This was reallly enjoyable to listen to both tracks on the single. But the first one was the one that reallly stand out of the single. The vocals were unusual, but it worked anyway for this collaboration. I might have heard better on the Remedy album, but I didn't mind anyway. Also, this single could have had enhanced features, such as the music videos, which would make it a better investment to dance fans. But, dance fans may enjoy it as much as I do, but it shouldn't reallly stand out of any other dance singles out.
