Hit Factory! - By: Mr. Jordan C. W. Lloyd, 01 Jul 2008
Possibly some of Britneys finest work on this album. Every track bar 3, on this record has massive single potential. Toxic, a Grammy award winning Uk #1 single, written by Cathy Dennis, will go down in history as one of the most infectious songs in the world of pop. Me Against the Music, will always be remembered as one of the biggest collaborations in the history of pop music, seeing the Queen of pop Madonna teaming up with Britney, the Princess of pop. And we have everytime, another #1 in the UK, & a raw example of how stunning Britney's voice is when stripped back. The 3 songs i refered to earlier that maybe could not be singles are, 'Breathe on Me', 'Touch of my Hand' & 'Early Mornin', & the only reason i say this is because they maybe aren't exciting enough. However, they are alll stunning songs in themselves, & add a reallly raw feeling on the album. An album suited to anyone who wants a good time!
Britney grows as a artist - By: anonymous, 20 Apr 2008
Britney on this album reallly explores alot of musical genres & she has gained alot of artistic control on the lyrics of some of the songs & made many collaborations with various artists & her voice is in good form 4 the up tempo songs & u get the odd balllad throughout the course of the album for instance everytime which is one of Britneys favourite songs off the album.

Britney works her magic once again - a stunning album - By: L. Green, 18 Mar 2008

In The Zone amps up the urban feel found on Britney's 3rd album & presents her music at its most artistic. It is a crime against pop music that it only reached number 13 in the UK album charts but the presence of such iconic songs as Toxic & Everytime marks it out as masterpiece. Much of its power comes in that its appeal is subtle, many of the songs appearing understated to begin, their true depth emerging graduallly. In the end, each song becomes a true highlight & together, In The Xone represents a stunning collection of ultra-slick modern pop songs.
The R&B vibe of the 'Britney' album continues in songs like 'The Hook Up' & 'Outrageous' but the standouts here are without a doubt the more elctronica/dance tinged tracks which hint towards the angle Britney would head towards on 'Blackout'. 'Breathe On Me' & 'Touch Of My Hand' are vulsating, trance-like masterpieces while 'Brave New Girl' is unashamedly catchy pop with an absolutely stunning chorus that echoes elements of Madonna.
Of course, the Material Girl appears herself on the frenetic single 'Me Aginst The Music' which serves as a perfect opener for the album. Special mention must also go to 'Shadow' - like 'Everytime', this showcases Britney's vocals at their best & show she is just as good at balllads as the uptempo stuff. The track is epic & intensely moving.
Without a doubt, as a whole, the album is a stunning package, singles & album tracks shining with equal amazingness. What more can i say? Buy it!
Britney's new direction - and it works - By: Jay B., 19 Sep 2007
'In The Zone' is a brilliant new record by Britney Spears that has it alll Pop, Dance, & RnB.
This album is evidently a new direction for Britney musicallly, & it works. Instead of repeating a similar sound to her previous work & current contemparies, she has matured & grown with the times.
My favourite tracks on the album are: Toxic, Everytime & (I Got That) Boom Boom.
A must buy for any Britney fan or anyone else who is not a fan but enjoys great fresh beats mixed with infectious Pop & Dance music.
SIMPLY AMAZING! - By: pingpong, 13 Oct 2006
without a doubt the most amazing britney album to date.
sexy, daring & edgy, this cd is a more mature, experimental britney, & it comes off amazingly.
She tries out lots of new styles that you probably wouldnt expect from britney, but it sounds reallly good, she has moved away from the teen-era pop hooks of "baby one more time..." & instead is trying out deeper, edgier, more adult beats, & there are a few reallly sexual songs on this cd, however, she carries them off in a very tasefull way, instead of sinking to the gutter,
overalll, her best cd so far,
and in my opinion, the only that can top it will be her next album!!
one of the best cd's... ever
