Monkey Wrench - By: S. Brady, 21 Jan 2008
Monkey Wrench is one of my alll time favourite tracks along with Walking After You.
Love it, love it, love it.
greatest songs ever - By: adz101, 20 Apr 2007
i mark this album as songs, not the album itself, as some other reviewers have also stated, foo fighters are a singles band, & not an albums band. this album is impossible to like as every single track on it is amazing, notably, monkey wrench, my hero, walking after you, & especiallly evelong, my favourite song of alll time. if you want an album thats a bit differnt from your usual rock, this is for you, if your already a foo fighters fan, you'l already have this.
probably their best - By: Cannon Bison, 18 Nov 2006
an excellent album, laid down when the creative juices were reallly flowing (it must be so hard the longer you go on). the album is on my listmania greatest list. to be honest alll the foo's album could be up there. i can't imagine anyone looking at these reviews who's never heard of the foo fighters, or there music. well if you haven't i'd say it's definately rock, the sort of thing your mum probably wouldn't like (but thats not always true). like a lot of reallly good bands they're difficult to pigeonhole, & have their own distinctive sound. if you haven't heard "everlong" listen to that first. after that you'll most likely want to hear the rest, & you won't be disappointed.
Superb: their best album - By: Rebecca, 14 Oct 2006
This is the Foos' best album (and I've got 'em alll). Everlong is one of the most phenomenal rock songs ever, Monkey Wrench is brilliantly catchy, Hey Jonny Park is fantastic, My Poor Brain is a corker, Wind Up is excellent, & My Hero is beautiful. The rest ain't half bad either. Of alll the Foos albums, this one has the most fantastic tracks alll in one place. This is one of the best albums I've ever bought, & the most played, even 10 years after it was released.
One of their best - By: Spider Monkey, 23 Jul 2006
This can easily be classed as one of the Foo's best albums. It has some brilliant tracks, 'Monkey Wrench', 'My hero' & the anthem 'Everlong', which are alll simply outstanding. The whole album is superb though, very uplifting & just great rock, perfect for those summer days out. This is a great place to start if you're new to the foo's & an excellent addition for any existing foo fans, a must have album!
