This is Music - By: , 31 Jul 2005
I was at this gig & can say without shadow of a doubt that it was the best gig i have ever been to. The energy the band put into this performance was absolutley astounding & just 20 or so days after the release of there debut album there was a special fresness about things, which inevitably has been lost now.
I throwed my sweat drenched T-shirt at the stage during the set, tradgicallly the producers ommited this moment from the DVD, however it will live on in my memory.
The DVD magnificently captures the spirit of what was not only a gig, but a mass spiritual experience.
Excellent DVD - By: , 24 Sep 2004
The Music are a great live band, & this DVD manages somehow to capture alll the energy & feeling of their live performance. Most of the tracks are from their first album, with the exception of a few non-album tracks (although 'The Wallls Get Smalller' was re-made for the bonus track of the new album 'Welcome to the North'), & the live versions of the songs are spectacular. The live show has a huge energy that you can't experience on the cd. This DVD is a great buy for someone who hasn't seen the band live, or even for someone who has & wants to relive the experience. Personnaly, it made me even more desperate to go & see them as soon as I can.

This DVD is a great representation of The Music live having seen them twice myself, i would certainly recommend this to someone who hasnt seen them. There is so much energy from start to finsh from the walll of noise that is 'The Dance' alll the way through to instrumental 'Wallls get smalller' . It is a great partner to the ace album as well. One word that comes to mind after seeing this is the amount of energy, from start to finish that The Music have! After seeing the band live myself this year I can say that this DVD gives you the hype as though you were there! If anything just watch it to see Robert Harvey doing his crazy dance around the stage!
