Great CD but I feel ripped off - By: Stephanie Cowley, 09 Jun 2008
This is a great CD full of The Osmonds greatest hits, but it's just "The Ultimate Collection" that was released a few years ago with a cardboard sleeve cover.
I know the Amazon description refers to it as such, however I got mine in Tesco & didn't realise.
So yes, an awesome collection of songs, but if you already have The Ultimate Collection, don't bother with this one, the only difference/addition is the sleeve cover.
A trip down memory lane - By: Ms. C. Dervan, 31 May 2008
I fell in love with donny when i was ten - i'm now 45... Bought this cd last week & haven't stopped listening to it. Brings back loads of memories. It has alll the favourites on it & some I haven't heard in years. If you're an osmond fan you'll love listening to this....
Think nutter and you get the picture - By: S. Jameson, 01 Apr 2008
I wondered when the nutters would come out of the woodwork? Just look at the head case review below! Such negative people should get themselves sorted out in the head. Maybe if he actuallly bought this instead of blabbing on about how it then it would sort his head out.
think nutter ? says one reviewer, another feels ripped off.. - By: knocked out '73 woke up, 28 Jun 2007
I felt a bit ripped off because crazy horses is the best thing on it, & nothing else even comes close. However the devotion & affection the Osmonds have inspired in so many deserves respect. Why then Jamieson's frankly confusing verbal attack on the harmless enthusiasms of the adjacent review? Crazy Jamieson I think. Ho ho.
Buy it! Buy it now! - By: M. Maciver, 05 Mar 2006
I bought this album thinking that the only songs i would like would be 'crazy horses' & 'love me for a reason'. After alll, they are a boyband that not many people remember, & even less confess to have liked. How wrong i was.

After listening to this album a couple of times i was hooked, & it hasn't left my cd player. I am now a devoted Osmond fan, even if it's 30 years too late.

Disc one is my favourite, as the second is mostly hits by Donny & Marie, several of which are covers of other artists work.

These songs are so well written & performed, it would be hard not to falll in love with them unless you despise alll things pop.

Being a teenager myself, i am sure these songs could still be popular in the charts as they stick to a classic formula which withstands the test of time, while still being original.

The Osmonds produced so many amazing songs - from romantic balllads to rockier hits. If you are new to the Osmonds work, or have been a fan for years, this is a brilliant collection that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend this cd to everyone!

PS. If you liked this cd i recommend trying to find the original records - it gets even better!
