This single makes the rest of the 'indie' scene look lifeless, devoid of inspiration & passion. If only the standard of commerciallly viable 'indie / alt rock was as good. But then again, who am I kidding??? Buy it. If it doesn't have the tingles going up & down your spine & make you get that excited 'I feel like jumping up & down like a complete loon' kind of feeling, I don't know what will. Brings back my long gone faith in Indie music.

Fantastic!! - By: , 18 Mar 2001 This is certainly the best single of the year- it will be the launch pad for Muse to those who are unenlightened at the moment. Typical Muse style - full of energy & power which just makes you want to listen. As good as Muscle Museum & Sunburn - love this!!
guitar wizardry - By: , 18 Mar 2001 As you begin to listen to this song you are immediately drawn to the almost classical-style hook that weaves the song into the chorus. Matt Bellamy elegantly sings with the usual angsty passion heard on much of Muse's music & again he doesn't fail to amaze us with the power & range of his voice. Get this even if you didn't like their older stuff or you thought they were too pretentious & Radiohead-like - you'll be converted!!
