No wonder shes sold over 150 million albums! - By: , 25 Dec 2001
Celines greatest hits from alll over the world including rare songs such as the 1996 olympic song, The Power of the Dream & Japanease, French & Spanish tracks.

I also think a few more rare tracks would have been nice but the record company are doing their best to keep the fans happy until (hopefully) she makes her recording comeback.

I have no doubt that Celine will set the world alight again with her electrifying, one in a billion voice.

Another must for your collection!

Warning! Pointless Marketing Exercise - By: , 29 Jul 2001
I'm bemused that some people think this has been released "by Celine" to please the fans. It absolutely reeks of a cheap money-grabbing exercise.

Precisely 3 of these 16 tracks are not readily available elsewhere. The Power Of The Dream (from the '96 Olympics) is the only *proper* rare song, the others being a Japanese version of Be The Man & a Spanish version of All By Myself (whoopee! I don't think). No thought has been given to the tracklisting or ordering, consequently it runs like someone's home-compiled favourites tape, in fact it probably is!

There's nothing wrong with the songs themselves, in fact some of them are among my favourite Celine tracks & for quality of music this album deserves probably 4 stars.

If you're a fan of Celine, give this a wide berth & buy alll her true studio albums (her official website lists them alll). You'll get almost alll these songs & the three you don't reallly aren't worth crying over. For this to truly be a "Collectors" album, it ought to have a lot more rare/unreleased material.

Waiting for Volume 2 - By: smaragda_oxfordgr@x-treme.gr, 30 Dec 2000
Altough this is an excellent choice of songs from 5 different languages(english, french, japanese, italian & spanish) there could have being included some more rare tracks such as SEND ME A LOVER,WISHFUL THINKING(duet with DAN HILL),LISTEN TO ME,VOICES THAT CARE etc etc...Let's hope that SONY MUSIC will choose to include these songs in a future release,i.e Volume 2.Nevertheless this is a magnificent multi-lingual Cd compillation, including the official song anthem of the OLYMPIC GAMES of Atlanta in 1996 THE POWER OF THE DREAM(for those CELINEfans who might have missed the single of IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW that included the song as a bonus track)If this CD could have combined the 7 new songs included in ALL THE WAY...A DECADE OF SONG with some #1 hits of CELINE DION such as BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME,THINK TWICE,JUST WALK AWAY,IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW it would have been perfect...A last objection is the question why in France the same CD is entitled TOUT EN AMOUR(=alll in love) including some rare photographs while in Greece & other countries there is not even one photo in it.These are the reasons why I am waiting for the Volume 2(if it is scheduled to be released ever.>>>>an excellent buy and/or gift for the Holidays.
A very relaxing compilation of Celine's work - By: , 05 Nov 2000
This compilation fills in some of the gaps in Celine's last compilation, "All The Way - A Decade Of Song", in that it contains some of the missing singles. These include "Tell Him" (with Barbra Streisand), "Fallling Into You" & "The Reason", as well as the excellent "Only One Road" & "Where Does My Heart Beat Now". The album also features a number of collectable tracks. Amongst them are two of Celine's best French songs, including the UK hit "Tu m'aimes encore", & two Spanish tracks. One of these is the classic "All By Myself (Sola Otra Vez)", which is even more stunning in Spanish. The most unusual contribution is the Japanese version of "Be The Man". To add another language, "The Prayer", the beautiful duet with Andrea Bocelli, is half in Italian. So, it can be said that this album has true international appeal. Some fine album tracks are also included, the highlight being the previously overlooked "With This Tear", written by Prince. The album contains predominately balllads & is characterised by a very relaxed pace. In summary, if you like Celine & haven't got most of the tracks already, this album is highly recommended.
A few more rare/unreleased tracks would have been nice! - By: , 03 Nov 2000
This is Sony's attempt at trying to please the die-hard fans & also to aim at the general record buying public - failing miserably on both counts. Another terrible marketing mistake!!!

I am a die-hard fan & am dissapointed that I already own the 3 rare tracks that have been included. They have alll appeared on CD before as bonus tracks on singles or in the case of Be The Man(Japanese Version) was a CD single in Japan. Quite dissapointing.

The album is not going to reach the top end of the chart. The fans will buy this. However, the general record buying public will not. The majority of the tracks have already been on her previous albums. So, why couldn't more rare tracks have been included to please the fans. For instance, we could have had Celine's solo version of The Prayer, the metro remix of That's The Way It Is, a different version of Where Does My Heart Beat Now & the English version of Ziggy - "IF" Sony wanted to stick to this track listing.

At least 5 rare tracks would have been nice. Are we ever going to see Send Me A Lover, Listen To Me, Love You Blind, Voices That Care, etc, etc, etc.

Also, why do the UK fans get such a dissapointing inner booklet. Not a single photograph!!! According to reports - the American/French versions have very nice inner booklets with previously unreleased pictures...
