why so much hate on this album??? - By: M. Roberts, 05 Jan 2007
This album is GREAT! i love bustas first three albums to death but ovbiously artists have to move on, this showed bustas first move away from his late 80's early 90's sound which will be missed for sure but he had to find some new beats!

The beats here are awseome i can't believe people are slagging on tracks like, 'Enjoy da Ride' & 'We put it down...' these two tracks are so cool, a clear example of beats that ONLY Busta can spit to.
I also cant believe nobody has mentioned 'Trip Out Of Town' the best track in my opinion, the beat, b-line & strings are heavy & busta spits to perfection one of my alll time favourite Busta tracks.

apart from a few fillers (the reason for no 5 stars) this album is a classic to me, i cant reallly compare it to any other album by anybody which is a massive sign that busta is still one of a kind, an inovator, one of the greatest hiphop artists of alll time!
I cant compare it to Bustas previous work or his newer releases because alll his albums have a different sound.

Please don't judge this album of some of the reviews here, these people must not know the true meaning of an inovator of hiphop. some very futuristic beats & some amazing dark hiphop beats! BUY NOW! BLADOW!!
Busta- Decent. Beats- Futuristic. Effect- Not good - By: YoungB, 05 Mar 2006
Busta rhymes is a skilled rapper, there is no doubt about that. He does show his lyrical skills on this album.
My main problem is the beats. Although i knew busta's famous for futuristic beats, i didn't expect them to be this techno.
This was the first busta album i have bought, & probably will be so for a long time. The other one i bought was keith murray- 'He's keith rray'. I now wish that was the only one i had bought. Back to the album.
The intro is terrible. A skit woukd be better. This opener is terrible & it gets the album off to a horrific start.
The amount of filler in this album is unbelievable.
One, yes only one, track is good, & thats got DMX on it, he outshines busta so much.
Busta can rap but he needs to get the production sorted out. Maybe a bit less futuristic & more gangsta, like his raps.
I only bought this on the basis of a track i heard on The hits & that isn't even on here.
Before you buy this make sure you like futuristic beats, otherwise, you will be very disapointed.
Overalll:
Busta Rhymes: Excellent
Beats: Dreadful
The beats let this down.
some wicked,some alright,some poor. - By: , 29 Sep 2002
upon first listen of the album i thought "well it relies on the beat loops to make it a good album"which it does.about 80% of the tracks dont have any heart felt lyrics apart from themes of gun busting & slappin b***hes. the best tracks for the music is nearly alll of the tracks apart from "enjoy the ride" & "fire". the best ones for heartfelt lyrics are "how much we grew" & "why we die".the ADVISORY label is on for a reason, and the reason being is that within every 15 seconds of every track apart from the intro n outro he swears..from start to finish.so yal been warned.if you get offended by F**K,N***AZ,B**CHES & so on,DO NOT BUY.otherwise, its a great party album for the mature ONLY!
Phat Little Album!! - By: hazzaman@email.com, 15 Feb 2002
This is a excellent album!! The beats & tunes are the best that ive heard on any of bustas albums, Although he does not do any of his trade mark fast rappin like on "Gettin Rowdy With Us ELE" And the new single break your neck although this is true it does not stop it from being a slammin album. As with alll his albums at first u are disappointed but they grow & grow to become amazin. Best track has to be get out or anarchy!!
I'm disappointed - By: , 20 Oct 2000
I love Flipmode, but I think that this album is a real disappointment (sorry). There are about three or four tracks that retain that epic defiance that flipmode are so good at, but I was annoyed with the overridingly weak sound of the album. I hope that the next Flipmode explosion keeps it real, & gets back to the quality of 'The Coming' & 'The Imperial' - which are some of the best albums I've ever heard.
