NUFF SAID..........................I REST MY CASE! - By: Mr. P. Burkett, 30 Aug 2007
A true music phenomenon, Gray's fourth album White Ladder has now been certified nine times platinum in the UK, having clocked up over 2.7 million sales. The album has sold over 6 million worldwide, including 2 million in the US alone. In Ireland White Ladder remains the biggest selling album of alll time.
Drunken Gibberish - By: David Byrne, 22 Jun 2007
Stop . . !! It what it is, & does not pretend to be something it is not. It is a collection of goood songs, nothing ground breaking. However, it deserves more than the one star ratings that some of the reviews here are giving it.

If you are looking for something earth-shattering, look elsewhere.

If you are looking for an easy to listen album, then download, buy, whatever. Include in your collection.
Bloody awful dross - By: Mr. D. A. Cure, 16 Dec 2005
This is everything music shouldnt be: bland, dull, uninspiring, mechanical, bland, uninteresting & incredibly boring. How people like this bloke pick up awards is beyond me, but then again the kind of people who listen to this probably also like Phil Collins & The Verve.

Gray by name, grey by nature. How very apt.

Catchy production, dull songs - By: Julian Richards, 08 Nov 2005
I think people like this for the laid-back, poignant, world-weary but still optimistic sound it gives off. OK in the background, but if you bother to pay attention you'll hear the purring production is creating catchy hooks out of very mediocre material. The songs reallly want to be played with an acoustic guitar, which would unfortunately reveal them for what they are.

Listen to the secret track!

The track is callled 'Through to Myself' & is probably my favourite track on the album given that it sounds like David's having a lot of fun recording it & it sounds totallly raw unlike the polished shine of the majority of the album.

Enjoy!!
