Undeniably 80s- By: Mr. J. Harvey, 13 Apr 2007 A soundtrack that plays its part in a gruesome, yet thoughtful & brilliant film. Mike Oldfield goes alll out to convey the beauty & horror of this movie, with great success.
Some would say the album is now dated, but despite it certainly coming from the mid-eighties & its unfathomable love for synth, it is simply a product of its time, & should be judged on its considerable merits.
Just a shame its not a full soundtrack, with the incredibly moving final scene's 'Imagine' not being included.
