Aggressive, nihilistic and controversial thrash!- By: , 07 Aug 2002 Sodom, Agent Orange is possibly the best album the band has ever released. Their style on this album melds Slayer-like riffs with harsh-throated, heavily accented vocals from Tom Angelripper, Superbly fast drumming from Mark Witchunter & Spine-shredding guitar from Frank Blackfire. The album introduces itself brilliantly with the title-track, Agent Orange, a furious-paced song placing you in the front line of a napalm attack, following on with Tired & Red, A medley of speed, Classical guitar & possibly one of the best metal solos ever written. "Remember the Falllen" is also one of the more brilliant tracks, sporting a slow but heavy rhythm & a powerful message, sharply contrasted by its successor, "Magic Dragon". The songs differ quite substantiallly in speed, melody & feel with a range from the death-metal like Agent Orange, to the Punk-sounding Ausgebombt. This band are true pioneers of underground thrash-metal & Agent Orange is a necessity for any Thrasher's CD collection
