One of Sarah's best albums. - By: FAMOUS NAME, 16 Apr 2008

One of Brightman's best albums & a perfect album for those fans who prefer her soprano abilities as opposed to the pop.

This album opens with a beautiful track in 'No One Like You' & includes one or two dramatic duets. This also includes the massive chart hit 'Time To Say Goodbye' sung with Andrea Bocelli, & one of my personal favourites - the famous 'O Mio Babbino Caro' that many will recognise that is recorded live.

timeless beauty!!!! - By: Mr. Nathan Armstrong, 24 Sep 2006
miss brightmans biggest uk release! hit the charts on the back of the single "time to say goodbye" & there are more classics were that came from!

tracks like "no one like you" "just show me how to love you" "who wants to live forever" are in the same vain...sarah makes classical music accessible!

there are a few real classical numbers which are fine if you like them...i find them a bit heavy...plus i like to know what they are singing about!

i adore "there for me" "tu quieres volver" & especiallly "naturaleza muerta" which for years it though meant 'natural death' but in fact is a song about waiting for a fisherman to return to shore...still sarahs vocals & the orchestra sounds fantastic!

sarahs voice is amazing....wether she is singing classical or modern...i prefer her modern work...which nobody else in the uk seems to give a chance! "dive" "harem" & "eden" are wonderful for this!!!

A Classic Album - By: Mr. LM Samuel, 16 Sep 2006
Sarah Brightman is one of those rarities who has found fame in countries other than her own. Of course, British people remember her for her association with Lord Lloyd Webber, & those even older probably have a record single of 'I lost my heart to a starship trooper'. But this is an album that did considerably well on home ground, & rightly so.

From the opening bars to the ecstatic high notes of the final encore, the listener is taken on a musical journey, through a range of music styles, superbly orchestrated & arranged, & of course sung with the skill & unique style of Ms Brightman.

There are familiar songs (Queen & Gypsy Kings) & a range of interesting arrangements (Bilitis, En aranjuez con tu amor) which blend seamlessly into an audible dream.

Some bad diction in the opening song goes almost un-noticed thanks to the emotional intensity & of course, the rest of the beautiful songs on the album.

This is highly recommended & is especiallly relevant nearly 10 years since the recording thanks to the current thirst for crossover artists such as Katherine jenkins, Il Divo & G4. Crossover artists themsleves owe homage to this wonderful lady who perhaps started the trend.

A Nightingale Sings - By: , 30 Jul 2002
I bought this CD for one song, I was a closet admirer of 'Time to Say Goodbye',but I ended up liking alll the other songs on the album as well & you dont often find that consistency with artists.
I cant even find anything negative to say about it, alll the songs are perfectly executed & the compilation is very thoughtful as you have Brightman sing a couple on her own, then a duet, then long orchestral intro's with her disceetly harking in the background. This is modern opera, covering tracks such as Queens 'Who wants to live forever' to the incredibly romantic 'Noone like you' well Sarah their is Noone like you, I was a typical Man's Man before you turned me in to a mushy pulp of a romantic, & on this occasion 'Touché' you got me, & I dont mind admitting it.

This Is one CD that I can't recommend highly enough.

Great CD. Beautiful remake of Queen's song. - By: arme@worldnet.att.net, 04 Dec 1999
"Who wants to live forever" never sounds better. "Time to say goodbye" is also a true classic.
