truly magnificent - By: , 09 Jun 2000
This is an absolute blinder of an album from a truly magnificent band. It is such a damn shame that the Dolls never received the recognition that they deserved, I for one just cannot understand why they never won the hearts of more people with their passionate brand of soulful rock n roll.

This band should be where the sterophonies are now, or maybe not, perhaps its better that at the end of the day they're just a little secret waiting to be rediscovered.

TOP WELSH BAND - By: , 06 Apr 2000
Love this band. They have a raw, loud, primal sound. This album is a great debut & their live gigs are brilliant. They have an energy that is conveyed even through recorded material. Love this band.
what an excellent record! - By: , 18 Jan 2000
I don't believe more people haven't said something about this record. Despite the fact it was released three years ago, it's sound has not aged as so many of the records of that period quickly have. The 60ft Dolls, like their welsh contemporaries the manics, have a lot of raw passion & energy that you can't help but be impressed by. If you are a fan of good, honest, clean guitar music, this should be your bag.
