Thank Goodness for Broadway- By: J. J. Rhodes, 15 Mar 2006 Ok! So you either like Bernadette Peters or you hate her - I was one of the unimpressed! Then, suddenly, along came Annie Get your Gun! This is a case of the right performer in the right role. Her performance is flawless. Forget your prejudices about The Dukes of Hazard, too; Tom Wopat is a sassy & stirring Frank Butler. Look at the`cast on this disc & you know that it should be a disaster - it isn't - it is by several streets, the best Annie Get Your Gun ever! - Enjoy!
