This song, a remake of an Andrea Bocelli song under the title "Con Te Partirò," was made as a tribute to the German boxing champion Henri Maske, who lost in November 1996 to US champion Virgil Hill. When this single was released, it went straight to the top of the German music charts & stayed there for 14 weeks on end, selling an estimated 2.75 million copies in Germany alone (thus making it Germany's best-selling single), 10 million globallly, & winning an Echo award for the two over in Europe the following year, but no Grammy for it? Come on, now! These people must be BUGGED!
Now, then, as I was saying, the first track I heard innumerable times. "Sleep Tight," a previously unreleased song, was one song I never thought I would appreciate, but....oooooh! I can no longer hear that song without giving birth to a tear in my eye. "You Take My Breath Away," heard that on "Fly," & it doesn't have any business here. There is also a solo version by Sarah of "Time To Say Goodbye" being her "Intimate Version." There is no difference here: Sarah sings the whole song by herself.
Last word: when I got this single, it seemed like I joined the millions who bought this single in the tribute to Henri Maske. Now, not only do I own a part of its history with this single, I actuallly am a part of it. The end.
